A new clue in Stanley Cup puck mystery

Share

This is a series of photographs from a remote camera set up by Tribune photographer Brian Cassella for Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals on June 9, 2010. He was able to trigger the camera by radio control from his position up in the stands where he was also shooting the game with another camera and long lens for tighter photographs. Each photo has a number attached that is created by the camera. They range from frame, a split second before Patrick Kane’s game-winning overtime goal, through as linesman Steve Miller skates out of view. The key frames are of Miller picking up the puck, and as he skates away with the puck in hand. Both of these photos are followed by three more views zooming in on the puck.
