Clippers guard Jamal Crawford suffered a burst bursa in his right elbow during Wednesday night’s game at the Indiana Pacers, but continued to play.

Crawford practiced Thursday and said, “Yeah, I’m playing,” against the Washington Wizards on Friday night.

Crawford said he wasn’t sure when he suffered the injury, but noticed it after the game against Indiana. A bursa is a fluid-filled sac that provides cushioning in joints.

“My elbow was out to there,” said Crawford, showing how large his elbow had swollen because of the fluid buildup.

Crawford said the Clippers’ training staff didn’t drain his elbow, but “did some other stuff” to get the fluid out.

He had 18 points against the Pacers, including a three-pointer in the fourth quarter and a jumper later in the quarter.

“I didn’t think about it until afterward,” Crawford said. “Then I felt it. When you’re playing, the adrenaline is flowing and the game was tight. I didn’t think about it then.”
