Harvard-Westlake's trip to Georgia turned out to be just what the team needed.

After losing to St. Francis in a Mission League game last week, the Wolverines went 5-0 to win a tournament in Atlanta.

On Thursday, they defeated Illinois O'Fallon, 6-0. Paul Giacomazzi and Gabe Golob combined on the shutout. Ezra Steinberg went three for four with two RBI and Jake Suddleson added two hits. Tom Fuller had two RBI.

Then the Wolverines defeated Georgia Valdosta, 3-1. Freshman Jesse Bergin threw four innings, striking out five. John Thomas had two hits and two RBI.

The Wolverines are 13-2.
