North Hollywood is off to a 5-0 start in the East Valley League, and senior guard Sean Fernandez has been the key figure.

He's averaging 30.1 points. He's the son of head coach Jose Fernandez.

What's surprising is that opponents have declined to try to trap him or even double team him, so he keeps taking advantage.

He has scored 40 or more points four times this season and has six games over 30 points.

North Hollywood should receive its toughest games in league play against Grant, with games scheduled for Feb. 3 at North Hollywood and Feb. 8 at Grant.
