Rose is seen as top NBA pick
The NBA will hold its annual player draft Thursday and oddsmakers have pegged Memphis guard Derrick Rose as the heavy favorite to be selected No. 1 overall by the Chicago Bulls.
Rose is listed at -500 with Kansas State forward Michael Beasley at +300, according to Bodoglife.com’s draft odds.
UCLA’s Kevin Love and Russell Westbrook each is listed for bets involving picks No. 3 to No. 8 but not together.
For example, who will be the No. 3 pick in the draft? Mayo (2-5), Stanford’s Brook Lopez (3-1), Love (9-2), Arizona’s Jerryd Bayless (7-1), or other (8-1); who will be the No. 4 pick? Bayless (even), Westbrook (6-5), Lopez (3-1), Indiana’s Eric Gordon (5-1) or other (8-1).
