Watch Dwight Howard’s surprise photo session with fans
Dwight Howard has a new clip available on YouTube titled “Adidas Basketball: Dwight Howard -- all in for LA.”
The Lakers center made a surprise appearance at the Adidas mobile photo booth, taking pictures, chatting with fans and giving out hugs.
“We’re here in LA -- about to meet all the fans, about to take pictures together -- about to have some fun,” said Howard in the video’s introduction. “It’s all about the Lakers, baby.”
In his first season with the Lakers (28-30), Howard is averaging 16.3 points, 11.9 rebounds and 2.3 blocked shots a game.
Howard returned ahead of schedule from back surgery but has struggled at times with stamina. He’s also playing through a torn labrum in his right shoulder.
The Lakers host the Minnesota Timberwolves (20-34) on Thursday night at Staples Center.
