Chris Paul is out six weeks with a separated right shoulder, sustained Friday in a win over the Mavericks in Dallas. The Clippers lost the following night in San Antonio, 116-92.
Paul drives the Clippers' offense, averaging 19.6 points and 11.2 points per game. He's also a pest defensively, collecting 2.4 steals a night.
The Clippers rely on Blake Griffin inside, but the team's guard core is weak, with J.J. Redick out with a hand injury.
Again, if the Lakers had a bit more star power on the floor, they might even be the favorite.
