Lamar Odom has pleaded no contest to a drunk-driving charge.

According to the Associated Press, Odom entered a plea Monday to a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence.

The former Lakers and Clippers forward will be on probation for three years and will also undergo three months of alcohol-abuse treatment.

Odom is currently a free agent but has talked to both local teams. The Clippers have had some interest but recently agreed to terms with free agent guard-forward Stephen Jackson.

For the Clippers to sign Odom, they’d have to open a roster spot as Jackson puts the team at the maximum of 15 players.

The Lakers are more concerned about Odom’s well-being than in signing him as a player -- although the team does have one slot open on the roster.

The team is more likely to carry 14 players than add a 15th anytime soon.

Odom was arrested on Aug. 30.
