NBA: Spurs top Grizzlies, 107-101, in early West showdown

Manu Ginobili scored 17 points, Tim Duncan recorded a triple-double of 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists Friday and the San Antonio Spurs ended the Memphis Grizzlies’ 22-game home winning streak, 107-101.

Danny Green added 16 points, and Tony Parker matched Duncan’s 14 points. Corey Joseph had 12 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter to thwart several Memphis rallies.

Marc Gasol led Memphis with 28 points and 12 rebounds, while Mike Conley had 23 points and 10 assists. Tayshaun Prince finished with 20, connecting on eight of 11 shots, including all four from outside the arc. The Spurs never trailed in the game, their biggest lead reaching 15.

Cleveland 105, at Toronto 91: LeBron James had 24 points and a season-best 13 assists, Kevin Love added 15 points and 13 rebounds, and the Cavaliers won their sixth in row. Tristan Thompson set season highs with 21 points and 14 rebounds, and Kyrie Irving scored 15 for Cleveland (11-7), unbeaten since a 110-93 home loss to Toronto (15-5) on Nov. 22.

New York at Charlotte 103, New York 102: Kemba Walker drove for a left-handed layup as time expired as the Hornets ended a 10-game losing streak. Gerald Henderson scored a season-high 22 points and Al Jefferson had another double-double for the Hornets, who nearly squandered a 20-point lead.

Oklahoma City 103, at Philadelphia 91: Russell Westbrook had 27 points to lead the Thunder to its first win with Westbrook and Kevin Durant in the lineup this season. Durant scored 10 points as Oklahoma City won its 11th in a row over the 76ers, who fell to 1-18.

at Washington 119, Denver 89: Kris Humphries scored 20 points, Rasual Butler and Kevin Seraphin each had 16 as the Wizards scored their biggest win of the season. Washington won its fourth in a row and set a season high in points.

Atlanta 98, at Brooklyn 75: DeMarre Carroll scored 16 of his 18 points in the first half, Paul Millsap had 17 points and the Hawks led by as much as 32 points in winning their fifth in a row.

Houston 114, at Minnesota 112 (OT): James Harden had 38 points before fouling out and Nick Johnson scored on a driving layup with 0.8 seconds to go in overtime that helped the Rockets escape.

Phoenix 118, at Dallas 106: Goran Dragic had 28 points and a season-high 13 assists and the Suns ended the Mavericks’ five-game winning streak despite 33 points from Monta Ellis.

at Milwaukee 109, Miami 85: Kendall Marshall came off the bench and scored a season-high 20 points and the Bucks used a 41-15 edge in points from reserves to roll.

Orlando 98, at Utah 93: Tobias Harris scored 22 points and Victor Oladipo had 20 as the Magic sent the Jazz to its eighth loss in a row.

at Sacramento 102, Indiana 101 (OT): Carl Landry’s putback of Rudy Gay’s missed jumper gave the Kings the victory. Gay led all scorers with 27 points.
