Chivas USA to Play Osasuna in Exhibition

Chivas USA will play host to Spanish first-division club Osasuna of Pamplona in an exhibition at the Home Depot Center on March 26 at 7 p.m.

Osasuna is coached by former Mexican national team coach Javier Aguirre, who was a roommate of Chivas USA Coach Thomas Rongen when both played with the L.A. Aztecs of the now-defunct North American Soccer League.

Chivas USA acquired defender Douglas Sequeira, 24, from Real Salt Lake for a 2007 second-round MLS SuperDraft pick. Sequeira had been picked up by Real Salt Lake earlier in the day from Costa Rica’s Deportivo Saprissa, which is operated by Chivas USA owner Jorge Vergara.
