Germany came out swinging against Brazil in Tuesday's World Cup semifinal, and frankly, they never stopped.

Forward Thomas Müller opened up the scoring in the 11th minute. Then his teammates punched in three more scores in rapid succession.

The score was 5-0 at half, and when the final horn sounded, Brazil had suffered the worst defeat in the history of its national team. The 7-1 drubbing launched Germany into the World Cup final and left Brazil and its fans sobbing and dejected on their home pitch.

But on Twitter, a land that knows no mercy and less compassion, users were laughing it up.
