Baseball wild-card: Watch some great moments in postseason history

&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The very first wild-card baseball playoffs will be held later today.&amp;nbsp; Each league will hold a one-game, winner-take-all matchup, with the winning teams advancing to the league division series, and the losers going home after just one postseason game.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Up first, at 2 p.m. PDT, the St, Louis Cardinals (the defending &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”15007006”&amp;gt;World Series&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt; champions) take on the &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”ORSPT000003”&amp;gt;Atlanta Braves&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt;. At 5:30 p.m., the &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”ORSPT000160”&amp;gt;Baltimore Orioles&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt; take on the &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”ORSPT000029”&amp;gt;Texas Rangers&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt;.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;In honor of the one-game format, &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”T15007055”&amp;gt;Major League Baseball&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt; has released a video highlighting some great moments of the past when everything was on the line in one game.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Francisco Cabrera, Bill Mazeroski, Aaron Boone, Craig Counsell, Bucky Dent. They are all here.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;It is a fun video to watch if you are a baseball fan (although if you are a &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”ORSPT000005”&amp;gt;Boston Red Sox&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt; fan, you may want to skip it, since they are on the losing end an awful lot).&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;And don’t look for the &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”PESPT0000011516”&amp;gt;Kirk Gibson&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt; homer, Dodgers fans. These are moments where everything was riding on one game.
