Mad Ants D-League team to hold tryouts Saturday in Inglewood
The Fort Wayne (Ind.) Mad Ants will hold open tryouts in Southern California on Saturday for the 2014-15 NBA Development League season.
The tryouts will take place at 9 a.m. at Inglewood High School at 231 Grevillea Ave. in Inglewood. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. The team will hold several other tryouts around the country.
Players who want to try out Saturday should submit registration and release forms (available online) and a $150 nonrefundable fee in the form of money order or cashier’s check.
Preregistration is not required, however, and athletes can register the morning of the tryout, but the fee increases to $200 after Thursday.
The Mad Ants are affiliated with several NBA teams, including the Clippers.
