Italian soccer player Antonio Floro Flores already has three children. So, he figured, what’s one more?

Floro Flores, who plays for Serie A club Sassuolo, was so touched by the story of a baby left on a train near Naples that he contacted authorities and offered to adopt the boy after efforts to find the parents failed.

Authorities say the boy was only three or four days old when he was found hidden in a bag placed under the seats of a train traveling from Naples to Avellino.

Floro Flores insists he’s not a hero, just a human.

“After seeing the profile of little Francesco, we followed what our hearts told us,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Before being a player I am a father. I’m certainly not a hero. We are going through the regular procedures.”

Floro Flores, a forward, has five goals and two assists in 27 games for Sassuolo, which is danger of relegation from Serie A.
