Lindsey Vonn’s reported trip on Tiger Woods’ jet isn’t so private

Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods have not publicly acknowledged a romance, but that has not stopped the rumor mill from churning about the pair.

Somebody might want to tell Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods that the words “private” and “secret” might be synonymous in some contexts, but not in the case of private planes.

Especially when the jet is reportedly owned by the most famous golfer in the world and the person supposedly boarding it is a well-known skier who was already garnering plenty of attention on that particular day because of a season-ending injury that occurred at the world championships in Austria.

TMZ.com ran a photo Friday of a hooded blond on crutches -- allegedly Vonn -- boarding a private plane -- reportedly belonging to Woods. Of course, there are plenty of other ways to get out of Austria, but presumably none as comfortable as one owned by a billion-dollar golfer.

And comfort would definitely seem to be an issue for someone who had torn two ligaments in her right knee and broken a bone in her lower leg during the super-G earlier in the week. What a nice thing for a guy to do for his girlfriend.

The only thing is, neither Vonn nor Woods have acknowledged the rumored romance. The recently divorced Vonn has released a statement saying she won’t talk about her personal life at this time, and Woods hasn’t had anything to say about it at all.

We get it, they’re private people.

So back to the lesson at hand -- if you’re trying to keep a romance a secret, using your alleged boyfriend’s private jet probably isn’t the way to do it.
