The first week of the NFL season comes to a conclusion tonight with "Monday Night Football," but it will be hard for tonight's games to match some of the excitement of Sunday's slate of games.

Which three NFL games Sunday do you think were the most exciting? Check out a quick synopsis of each game provided by Times NFL writer Sam Farmer, then vote in our poll.

Atlanta 37, New Orleans 34 (OT): The Falcons make an early bid to be this season's worst-to-first team as Matt Ryan passes for a club-record 448 yards and three touchdowns.

Miami 33, New England 20: The Dolphins score 23 unanswered points in the second half to upset the Patriots, becoming the first team since 2003 to beat the Patriots in an opener.

Cincinnati 23, Baltimore 16: Andy Dalton's 77-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Green lifted the Bengals to the win.

Buffalo 23, Chicago 20: The Bills, who have gone 14 years without a playoff appearance, pulled off a big win against the Bears, who had never lost to Buffalo at Soldier Field.

Tennessee 26, Kansas City 10: The Chiefs started last season 9-0. Not this season.

Pittsburgh 30, Cleveland 27: The Browns rallied from a 24-point halftime deficit before losing.

Houston 17, Washington 6: The Texans' defense was impressive in the victory.

Carolina 20, Tampa Bay 14: Even with Derek Anderson starting in place of the injured Cam Newton, the Panthers win, but the Buccaneers gave them a scare, though, with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and a potential pick-six — a would-be interception that slipped right through the hands of Buccaneers safety Dashon Goldson.

New York Jets 19, Oakland 14: Oakland rookie Derek Carr threw for a modest 151 yards but had two touchdowns and no interceptions.

San Francisco 28, Dallas 17: Dallas quarterback Tony Romo completed five of his first six passes . . . then was knocked around by San Francisco's defense, which sacked him three times and intercepted three of his passes.

Philadelphia 34, Jacksonville 17: In what looked to be the stunner of the weekend, Philadelphia faced a 17-0 deficit at home to the Jaguars before tearing off 34 unanswered points to set the world back on its axis.

Minnesota 34, St. Louis 6: OK, this game was a rout and wasn't that exciting unless you are a Vikings fan.

Denver 31, Indianapolis 24: Peyton Manning, who spent the first 13 years of his  career with the Colts, guided the Broncos to a commanding 24-0 lead, but Andrew Luck led the Colts back and made things interesting. Manning finished with 269 yards on 22-of-36 passing, Luck threw for 370 yards, two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions.
