Clippers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves preview

The Clippers just returned from a seven-game, 12-day road trip during which they won a franchise-best six games.

The Clippers, who are 7-2 on the road, host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Staples Center. They are 4-3 at home.

The Clippers enter the game having won four games in a row. Monday’s game marks their first of a four-game homestand for the team.

The Timberwolves will be playing without Kevin Martin (fractured right wrist), Nikola Pekovic (sprained right wrist), Ricky Rubio (sprained left ankle) and Ronny Turiaf (sore right hip).

Minnesota has struggled this season with a record of 4-11. They are 2-6 on the road.

The Clippers (11-5) will be playing without Chris Douglas-Roberts, who has a strained right Achilles’.
