Do you think the punishment given Donald Sterling was appropriate?

Share

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced Tuesday that Clippers owner Donald Sterling was banned for life from any NBA-related activities and fined $2.5 million by the league. Silver also said he will urge the rest of the NBA owners to force out Sterling as an owner.

The moves are the most severe sanctions the league has ever levied against an owner.

Sterling has been the target of wide condemnation after a recording said to have caught the NBA’s senior owner making controversial statements about blacks surfaced recently.

That brings us to two informal surveys. Do you think the punishment is appropriate? And do you think the league should force him out as an owner?
