A man has been arrested in the shooting death of former Angels outfield prospect Ryan Bolden, police in suburban Atlanta told the Associated Press on Monday.

College Park Police Maj. E.W. Strozier said that Stacie Williams was charged with felony murder and is being held in the Fulton County jail. A dispute between children at an apartment complex over candy on Dec. 17 escalated with adults getting involved and Bolden, 23, eventually being shot.

Strozier said that Williams was already in jail on charges linked to a domestic dispute when he was charged in Bolden’s death on Thursday.

Bolden was the 40th overall pick in the 2010 draft out of Madison Central High School in Mississippi. He played parts of four seasons in the Angels organization—three in Arizona and one in Orem, Utah—but never advanced past rookie ball and never hit better than .200. His career was cut short by back injuries in 2013.
