In one of the most highly anticipated tennis matches in quite some time, Serena Williams takes on her sister, Venus, on Tuesday at the U.S. Open in her quest to complete the Grand Slam.

This will be the 14th time the two have faced each other in a Grand Slam tournament, with Serena holding an 8-5 advantage. A look at their previous matchups:

1998 Australian Open second round, Venus wins, 7-6 (4), 6-1

Serena, 17, was playing in her first Grand Slam tournament and, after a tough first set, was no match for Venus in the second set.

2000 Wimbledon semifinals, Venus wins, 6-2, 7-6 (3)

On her way to winning her first Wimbledon, Venus again beats her sister in straight sets before defeating Lindsay Davenport in the finals.

2001 U.S. Open final, Venus wins 6-2, 6-4

Venus wins her fourth major title and improves to 5-2 overall against Serena with a relatively easy victory.

2002 French Open final, Serena wins 7-5, 6-3

Serena wins the first of her three French Open titles and finally defeats her sister in a Grand Slam tournament.

2002 Wimbledon final, Serena wins, 7-6 (4), 6-3

Serena defeats two-time defending champion Venus in straight sets and passes her sister in the world rankings to become No. 1.

2002 U.S. Open final, Serena wins, 6-4, 6-3

Serena wins her third Grand Slam tournament of the year by defeating Venus, who was the two-time defending U.S. Open champion. With the win, Serena ties Venus with her fourth major title.

2003 Australian Open final, Serena wins, 7-6 (4), 3-6, 6-4

Serena wins her fourth consecutive major tournament (but it doesn’t count as an official Grand Slam since they didn’t come in the same calendar year), defeating Venus in all four major finals.

2003 Wimbledon final, Serena wins, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2

Serena wins her second consecutive Wimbledon and defeats Venus for the fifth straight time in a major.

2005 U.S. Open fourth round, Venus wins, 7-6 (5), 6-2

Venus ends her losing streak to Serena in majors with this straight-set victory.

2008 Wimbledon final, Venus wins, 7-5, 6-4

Venus wins her second consecutive Wimbledon women’s singles title and fifth overall.

2008 U.S. Open quarterfinals, Serena wins, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (7)

Serena trailed 5-3 in each set before rallying to defeat Venus and going on to win the women’s singles title.

2009 Wimbledon final, Serena wins 7-6 (3), 6-2

Serena prevents Venus from winning her third consecutive Wimbledon title with the straight-set victory. The win means a Williams sister has won the Wimbledon title every year except two since 2000.

2015 Wimbledon fourth round, Serena wins, 6-4, 6-3

The sisters play each other in a major for the first time in six years, with Serena winning easily, giving her an 8-5 edge in majors and a 15-11 edge overall.
