Will UCLA close signing day with a bang? Several big names will decide

Wednesday, right around noon, could either be a very happy or a very sad time for UCLA fans. Within minutes, three of UCLA’s top recruiting targets are set to make their decisions.

Heading into signing day on Wednesday, the Bruins already have a deep, strong class. Eight players are already signed and on campus.

If a few undecided recruits choose UCLA, the Bruins could end up with one of the top classes in the country. The biggest name among them is Mique Juarez, a North Torrance High linebacker who was The Times’ player of the year.

If Juarez chooses UCLA, he would be the fourth consecutive player of the year to choose the Bruins. Juarez decommitted from USC after Steve Sarkisian’s firing. He would be the first five-star recruit in UCLA’s class.

Ten minutes before his scheduled announcement, teammates from De La Salle High in Concord are set to make their decisions. Boss Tagaloa, a highly rated defensive lineman, and Devin Asiasi, a tight end, will announce on ESPN2.
