USC AT CALIFORNIA

When: 5 p.m.

Where: Haas Pavilion, Berkeley.

On the air: TV: FS1; Radio: 710.

Update: The NCAA tournament is no longer a sure thing for USC (19-9, 8-7 in the Pac-12 Conference), which has lost four of its last five games, and its last six road games. The Trojans are coming off perhaps their most disappointing performance of the season, an 84-64 loss to Stanford on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cal (20-8, 10-5) is peaking. The Bears have won six in a row, and they haven’t lost at home all season. Jaylen Brown leads all Pac-12 freshmen with 15.8 points per game. Cal is only one game behind Oregon and Utah for first place in the conference. Sixth-place USC is 1 1/2 games behind Arizona for fourth place, which would mean a bye in the Pac-12 tournament.
