Former USC receiver Nelson Agholor is among NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock’s “Top five draft risers.”

“I think at the beginning of the process he was perceived as a mid-to-late second-round solid wide out,” said Mayock, who now projects Agholor as a late first round or top 40 pick.

Agholor, 6 feet and 198 pounds, participated in drills at the NFL Scouting Combine in February and at USC’s Pro Day last month.

He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.42 seconds.

“The more the coaches have gotten involved in the evaluation, they see a kid that can play inside, he can play outside, he’s a devastating punt returner, and apparently, they love him in the meeting room,” Mayock said.

Agholor caught 104 passes for 1,313 yards and 12 touchdowns last season. He returned two punts for touchdowns.
