USC recruiting: Defensive back Isaiah Langley signs letter of intent with Trojans

USC has received a letter of intent from Isaiah Langley, the school announced.

Player: Isaiah Langley

Position: Defensive back

Height: 5 feet 11

Weight: 175

High School: Pleasanton Foothills

Verbally committed: July 8, 2014

Schools considered: Arizona State and California

Notes: Army All-American

Langley, at the Army Bowl, on why he chose USC:

“I want to play, I don’t want to take a year off, I don’t want to redshirt -- I want to play now. That’s why I chose USC. They need help on defense and looking at the spring depth chart, they are really thin so my role is to step in and try to play.”
