USC recruiting: Trojans assistant Clay Helton watched quarterback Tate Martell practice in Las Vegas

USC quarterbacks coach Clay Helton watched quarterback Tate Martell at Bishop Gorman High in Las Vegas on Monday.

"It was pretty cool having 2 of my top schools at my spring practice. #USC #TCU," Martell wrote on Twitter.

Martell is scheduled to visit USC’s campus this weekend.

The 5-foot-10, 192-pound quarterback is a top recruit in the 2017 class. He has listed his top schools as USC, TCU, Texas A&M, Oregon and Notre Dame.

USC also has offered 2017 quarterback Tua Tagovailoa from Hawaii and Shawn Robinson, from Guyer (Texas), claims an offer.
