3. LOYOLA (5-1, SS-D1). Cubs open Mission League vs. Chaminade.
4. TEMECULA VALLEY (4-0, SS-D2). Six hits, eight RBIs for Kyle Plantier.
5. VISTA MURRIETA (6-0, SS-D2). Good pitching, good hitting, good defense.
6. ESPERANZA (5-0, SS-D1). Shortstop Tristan Hildebrandt is a standout.
