Baseball: JSerra tournament features top teams
With the high school baseball season just weeks away, JSerra is hosting a talent-laden tournament Jan. 18-19-20 that features lots of top teams.
The host Lions must think they have plenty of pitching, because they’re playing four games on Jan. 18: vs. Harvard-Westlake in a doubleheader starting at 9 a.m., followed by games against Saugus at 3 p.m. and Loyola at 6 p.m.
Aliso Niguel, Santa Margarita, Capistrano Valley, Mission Viejo, Anaheim Canyon, San Clemente and El Toro are also hosting games. Other teams in the tournament include El Camino Real and Birmingham from the City Section, plus Vista Murrieta, Chapparal, Great Oak and West Ranch.
