Harley-Davidson issues recall because of braking concerns

Harley-Davidson has recalled 66,241 motorcycles because of concerns the front brakes might engage unexpectedly. The country's largest motorcycle manufacturer, which makes some of the world's largest motorcycles, reported to the National Highway Safety Traffic Safety Administration that certain touring motorcycles outfitted with ABS braking systems and manufactured between July 1, 2013 and May 7, 2014 could experience sudden braking and front wheel lock-up. Affected models include the FLHTK, FLHTKSE, FLHTKSHRINE, FLHTCU, FLHTCUTC, FLHTP, FLHX, FLHXS, FLHXSHRINE, FLHR, FLHRC, FLHP, and FLHRSE touring machines.
