After receiving a supporting actress Oscar nomination for her film debut in 1951's "Detective Story," Lee Grant saw her movie career come to a screeching halt when she was blacklisted during the McCarthy-era Communist witch hunts. Returning to film and TV in the early 1960s, Grant earned three more Oscar nominations, winning for 1975's "Shampoo." Grant will appear Thursday evening at the American Cinematheque's Aero Theatre to sign copies of her new autobiography, "I Said Yes to Everything: A Memoir" and discuss her long career as an actress and director with screenwriter Larry Karaszewski between screenings of "Shampoo" and...
