"The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete" is a moving bit of mischief and mayhem that will break your heart, give you hope, make you laugh, possibly cry. Set in the Brooklyn projects a few years after the economic slide of 2008, it follows the saga of a 14-year-old named Mister (Skylan Brooks) and his unwanted sidekick, Pete (Ethan Dizon), as they try to survive their mothers' failings, the cops' sweeps and all manner of evil that lurks around a poverty-ridden high-rise.
