Ellen DeGeneres has sold the A. Quincy Jones-designed Brody House on Los Angeles’ Westside to Napster co-founder Sean Parker for $55 million in an off-market deal, The Times has confirmed. The daytime talk show host bought the trophy home last winter for $39.888 million. Built in 1950 for real estate developer Sidney Brody and his wife, modernist art collector Frances Brody, the property sold in 2010 for $14.888 million. The then investor-owner spent three years restoring the Midcentury Modern home.
