The worst-case scenario hit for the Chicago Blackhawks when the team announced Wednesday that winger Patrick Kane had surgery to repair a left clavicle fracture and will be sidelined approximately 12 weeks. The procedure was performed at Northwestern Memorial Hospital by Blackhawks team physicians Michael Terry and Bradley Merk.
