Not Much Good to Say for the Dodger Condition
Not only have the Dodgers developed into one of the worst hitting and fielding teams in baseball, but now--check the injury list--one of the worst conditioned.
The tendency for the Dodgers to sustain a high number of twisted ankles, sore backs, stiff shoulders, sore arms, swollen elbows and twisted knees is an indication that team members are neglecting a vital part of success in sports today: proper training and nutrition. One has to look no further than their manager to see where the Dodgers are getting their conditioning example.
Until the Dodgers and their management realize the positive correlation between weight training, flexibility training and proper nutrition with winning, they are doomed to lead the league in “most players on the injured list.”
