Two Boston men have offered about $50 million to buy the Boston Garden and the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League. The transaction could be concluded today, an attorney said.
Jim Brennan, president of Harbor Group, a private investment banking firm in Boston, and Godfrey Wood, who works for Landvest, a Boston real estate firm, are the prospective buyers.
“The negotiations are at what I would describe as a sensitive stage,” said Boston attorney Robert Caporale, who represents Brennan and Wood.
The Boston Garden and the Bruins are owned by Delaware North of Buffalo, N.Y.
