L.A. Allocates Funds for Armenian Festival
The Los Angeles City Council has approved an allocation of $5,000 for an Armenian festival and art show to promote understanding and respect for the culture and heritage of the Armenian community, announced Councilman Michael Woo. The festival, site and time to be selected later, will include a display of traditional Armenian folk art, dance, music, ethnic culture and food.
