Mike McCallum of Jamaica retained his World Boxing Assn. junior middleweight championship by stopping Julian Jackson of the U.S. Virgin Islands in the second round at Miami Beach.
McCallum, 27-0 with 24 knockouts, handed Jackson his first defeat in 30 professional fights.
On the same card, Miguel (Happy) Lora of Colombia retained his World Boxing Council bantamweight crown by knocking out Enrique Sanchez of the Dominican Republic in the sixth round.
