Whining Excuses From a Crybaby Quarterback

Say the Bruins beat the Trojans, which would be no great surprise, and then Notre Dame does the same next week. So there’s USC in a January 1 bowl against a real team, and here’s UCLA at Anaheim Stadium in the tradition-laden Freedom Bowl against the runner-up of the awesome WAC.

At least it’s nice knowing Pete Dalis thinks along the lines of his football coach: small, humble, thankful for any kind of favor. I believe that whirring sound is J.D. Morgan revolving in his grave.
