An argument among spectators at a pickup football game at an elementary school left two Torrance men dead of gunshot wounds. Police said Alfredo Tapia, 36, and Charles Camou, 56, were watching a pickup football game on school grounds at 1300 Lincoln Ave., Torrance, when they became involved in an argument, which quickly led to a burst of gunfire. Both men were struck in the head by bullets. They were taken to nearby hospitals, where each was pronounced dead on arrival. Police said they were unable to say who fired the fatal shots, or what the argument was about. The case is under investigation.
