ORANGE COUNTY
Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Thomas P. Stafford, commander of the Apollo X on the first flight of the lunar module to the moon in 1969, has been elected to the board of directors of Pacific Scientific Co. in Anaheim, replacing Jack P. Wright, who retired. Stafford, who retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1979, is a director of several major corporations and heads a Washington, D.C., consulting firm.
