CCAA Tournament Play Begins Today
Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, which shared the regular-season championship, will meet Chapman and UC Riverside, respectively, today in the semifinals of the California Collegiate Athletic Assn.’s postseason basketball tournament at San Luis Obispo.
The winners play Saturday night for the championship and an automatic berth in the NCAA Division II tournament.
In the women’s semifinals, defending national champion Cal Poly Pomona faces Cal Poly SLO and Cal State Northridge plays Chapman.
Today’s schedule:
2:30 p.m.--CS Dominguez Hills (20-7) vs. Chapman (15-13);
8:30--Cal Poly SLO (18-9) vs. UC Riverside (19-8).
