I found CBS’ interpretation of “Anna Karenina” to be a real disappointment. Levin, the main character of the better half of the book, was not even shown once! Jacqueline Bisset was incapable of portraying Tolstoy’s Anna; she looked more like a suffering TV starlet. The only actor who halfway saved the show was Christopher Reeve. I only wish he could have been in a better production.
