7-Footer White Boxes Holman in Long Beach
Mike White, one of professional boxing’s biggest fighters at 7 feet and 275 pounds, will fight Oscar Holman tonight in the main event of a boxing card at the Queen Mary-Spruce Goose complex in Long Beach. The program will start at 7:30.
The feature fight is a 12-round elimination bout, the winner getting a shot at California heavyweight champion Dee Collier.
White (18-5), a 29-year-old Long Beach resident, most recently won a 10-round decision from Collier in a non-title fight July 27.
Holman, of Philadelphia, is 12-6 and coming off a two-round knockout over Lionell Washington.
