A Chalet in Leavenworth
We were in Leavenworth, Wash., when Jerry Hulse’s article about that town came out Aug. 2. It was excellent. The chamber of commerce office had an increase of 150 calls the week after the article appeared. Everyone wanted to know where Leavenworth is. We are fortunate to have a chalet there, since 1980, and enjoy the summers there. We are planning to be there for the Christmas Festival Dec. 5. Very inspirational. We thank Jerry for so many excellent articles in The Times, especially on Leavenworth, Wash.
