White to Fight Collier for State Title in Irvine
Mike White, a 7-foot boxer, has signed to fight Dee Collier for the California State heavyweight championship Feb. 1 at the Irvine Marriott.
White, who weighs 285, has a 19-7 record that includes a victory over Collier in August at the Irvine Marriott.
White, from Ohio who fights out of Long Beach, won the 10-round unanimous decision in what had been announced as a title fight but later changed to a nontitle fight the night of the bout.
Collier (12-6) is from Los Angeles and weighs 230.
