$15.4 Million Awaits Lotto Prize Winner
An unidentified person who purchased a Lotto ticket in Granada Hills won a $15.4-million jackpot on Wednesday, California Lottery officials said.
The winner, who had not claimed the prize by 5 p.m. Thursday, will collect $629,000 annually after taxes for 20 years. The six winning numbers were 9, 10, 17, 22, 40 and 44, said lottery spokesman John Schade.
In addition, eight other players will share $2.2 million for picking five of the winning numbers plus the bonus number of 26, he said. Each will receive a one-time payment of $222,000 after taxes, he said.
