Five thoroughbred tracks canceled their programs Tuesday because of high winds and other adverse weather on the East Coast.

A power outage at Rockingham, N.H., forced cancellation at that track, and gale force winds in the 50 m.p.h. range pushed the Philadelphia Park program back to today.

High winds also knocked out Tuesday night’s racing at the Meadowlands, along with the daytime card at Laurel, Md., and Finger Lakes (N.Y.) Race Track canceled its program because of frozen conditions.
