Mayor Bradley’s Trip to Europe

Share

In response to “Bradley in Europe to Pitch L.A. Tourism” (Metro, Sept 16):

Interesting to note that Mayor Tom Bradley, along with 10 city officials, is off on a 19-day vacation trip to London, Paris, Monaco, etc. for the so-called purpose of “generating more traffic” for Los Angeles International Airport.

While grazing at the “public trough,” which is so generously provided by the poor overburdened taxpayer citizens of Los Angeles, why would our mayor take 10 political cronies on a boondoggle vacation trip to Europe for the purpose of drumming up more traffic for an already overloaded airport currently operating in excess of its legal capacity?

We poor taxpayers pay for our own vacations, Mr. Mayor. Why don’t you?

As mayor, the taxpayers of this great city are paying Tom Bradley to find solutions to our problems, not create new ones by seeking more business for an already overloaded and dangerously overcrowded Los Angeles International Airport.
