Pasadena : Rose Bowl Pact Awarded
An economic feasibility study for $8.3 million in press box and other improvements to the Rose Bowl was awarded Tuesday to the accounting firm of Laventhol & Horwath.
The Board of Directors said the study will determine whether bonds should be sold to pay for the improvements and whether income from Rose Bowl events will generate enough money to retire the bonds. The study will also examine the bowl’s use for non-athletic events, such as meetings, weddings and banquets.
It is expected to be finished in December.
