Ban on Barbecue Lighter Fluid
The AQMD wants to ban barbecue lighter fluid. Now will it be safe to breathe? Of course, the AQMD will still permit yard blowers, used more frequently, to blast their deadly smoke across our neighborhoods, shattering eardrums.
And probably no committee members ever get stuck in slow traffic behind those school buses with their poisonous fumes choking the air and blackening the lungs of thousands of young riders.
Along with the medical profession, people keep asking why cancer rates are soaring. The answer may be right in front of our eyes.
