Third-place qualifier Chip Robinson won the Toyota Trucks Lime Rock Grand Prix IMSA Camel GT sports car race in his Nissan NPT-91 after pole-sitter Tommy Kendall was knocked out of the running by his teammate, Wayne Taylor.
Robinson, who took the lead on the 106th lap, won the two-hour race with an average speed of 102.340 m.p.h. His margin of victory over second-place finisher Juan Fangio II of Argentina was 5.728 seconds.
